A market watch with your priorities.

How to describe a useful monitoring request: define the market, signal, schedule and response before starting an agent.

The short version

A useful Mojo monitoring request names the market or source, the condition to check, when to check it and what response you want. A notification-only watch helps you follow information without authorizing a trade.

What should a watch request include?

Start with a specific scope and a clear output. For example: ask for a daily summary of BTC funding and open interest, then name the context that would make the update useful to you. A broad instruction such as “watch everything” leaves too much room for interpretation. A market, a signal, a schedule and a response give you a plan that is easier to inspect and adjust.

How often can Mojo check?

Mojo’s public documentation describes scheduled checks as often as every 10 minutes, alongside supported event triggers such as a watched account posting or a wallet moving. Scheduled checks are periodic, not tick-by-tick. A price can cross a level and reverse before the next check. Choose a cadence that fits the purpose of the watch, and do not treat a monitoring agent as an exchange-hosted stop order.

Should the agent notify you or trade?

Define the response explicitly. A notification-only watch is different from a strategy that can place orders. If the goal is awareness, ask for a summary or notification and review the proposed behavior. If you later want the agent to act, the trading plan needs its own inspection and approval. Being clear about the response helps keep an information request from becoming an ambiguous execution request.

How do you keep the watch useful?

Return to the agent’s activity to see what it observed and reported. Change the scope or schedule as your priorities change, using the confirmation flow where required. You can stop an agent when the watch is no longer useful. Remember that the data can be incomplete, an AI interpretation can be wrong, and delivery can be delayed. Use the output as research context for your own decisions.
