Your Binance account. Your Mojo workflow.
A look at the documented Binance connection, including account requirements, API permissions and the role of strategy approval.
The short version
Mojo’s documented Binance connection lets agents place approved orders in an eligible Binance account. Funds remain on Binance. The connection requires Portfolio Margin Mode and a restricted API key; withdrawal permission must stay disabled.
What does the Binance connection do?
The connection brings a supported Binance account into the Mojo workflow. According to the official connection guide, agents can buy and sell spot, manage supported perpetual positions and move funds between wallets within the same Binance account when an approved plan needs it. Connecting an account is separate from approving a strategy. Every trading plan still goes through the confirmation card.
Source: Mojo documentation ↗Which account requirements matter?
The public setup guide requires an eligible Binance account in Portfolio Margin Mode, with identity verification and two-factor authentication completed. Portfolio Margin Mode must be enabled before creating the API key. Binance controls eligibility and the conditions for changing account modes. This article is an overview; use the full, current setup guide for the exact sequence and restrictions, particularly if the account already has positions, orders or API keys.
Source: Mojo documentation ↗What permissions does Mojo need?
The connection uses a system-generated API key restricted to the trusted IP addresses shown in Mojo. The guide distinguishes reading, trading and transfers between wallets within your own account from withdrawing funds or transferring them to another account. Withdrawal and internal-transfer permissions must stay disabled; Mojo rejects keys with those permissions enabled. Follow the current permission labels in the official guide rather than copying settings from another exchange integration.

You review the strategy before it starts and can inspect the agent’s recorded activity afterward. An approved agent may continue carrying out its plan without another confirmation for each action, so the scope of that initial approval matters. Review the market, size, conditions and risk controls carefully. Orders can fail, fills and prices can differ from expectations, and trading can cause losses. Stop an agent and manage remaining positions separately when you need to change course.
